Rated "Platinum " by Resort Quest on September 24, 2007 , this "Second Row" Wild Dunes home, 28 Ocean Point, is a beautiful, custom, 2400 square foot home with gorgeous views of the Ocean from the second story balcony in front of the house and beautiful views of the Lagoon, Inlet, Driving Range and Wild Dunes Island in the back of the house. This home is located across from the beach (200 yards) and the pool (100 yards) in Ocean Point, one of the most exclusive gated beachfront neighborhood in Wild Dunes.

The Sports Card gives our guests access to all Wild Dunes services & amenities such as tennis, golf, gym, spa, Grand Pavillion boardwalk, children's programs, Wild Dunes olympic size lap pools which are heated to 82 degrees in off-season, bike rentals,boat rentals, and restaurants.



28 Ocean Point is one custom home with a very wide 3 story front, facing the ocean, a very open floor plan with 10' ceilings on all floors, and an abundance of large windows/and or french doors provide amazing views from every room in the house.

This home can accomodate 6-10 people with 3 bedrooms, 1 Sofa in the private den which opens into a full bed, and one of the two couches in the family room opens into a queen bed.


Free DSL and 2 desks, one in the den and one in the Master Bedroom, makes it easy to stay connected while away from home.

One beach cart with umbrellas, chairs, toys, and a new outdoor cedar shower have been provided for added convenience to all our guests.

In addition, Ocean Point, has its own private pool, hot tub, and cabana. it is available to all our guests and located only 100 yards from the house, the pool overlooks the 18th hole, the beach and the ocean.

Beach access is 200 yards from the house.

When you stay here, you can enjoy gorgeous views of the ocean from the new second story balcony which provides outdoor access from master bedroom and second guest bedroom, and views of the inlet, lagoon, driving range, and the Wild Dunes Resort Island from the two private back decks in the master suite and guest bedroom. On the first floor, adjacent to the dining room and living room, a very large furnished tiled screened porch with awnings overlooks a very private backyard with large oak trees for shading, palm trees, and beatiful views of the lagoon.

We purchased this home in Apirl of 2004. It was previously occupied by the owner, never been rented before, and in pristine condition. New furniture throughout the entire house, a sophisticated contemporary look, harmonized with a coordinated color scheme of warm tones of muted olive, terra-cotta, blues, and cream, give this home a current elegant but at the same time relaxed feel and charm.

A large formal dining room, living room with fireplace, wide-screen TV (with VCR and DVD player), stereo, den/office, half bath, a spacious tiled kitchen with separate bar and breakfast area in bay window, furnished screened porch, and a gas grill provide all the comforts of a home away from home.

On the second floor, a huge master suite greets you with lots of light from the two large windows and the French door leading to private deck. A Queen Sleigh bed, luxury matress, TV and VCR in large oversized armoire, hardwood floors, large marble tiled master bath, Jacuzzi tub with ocean views, and large glass shower with ocean views; two large walk-in closets complete the beautiful setting. Access to the second story front balcony to enjoy morning sunrises, ocean views and wonderful ocean breezes. From the private back deck - one can touch the tall wild oak tree while taking in views of the lagoon and the inlet.

The elegant second bedroom decorated with a white queen bedroom set with muted lemon-grass quilt and matching lamps, TV with DVD, a private deck overlooking the lagoon and driving range and views of the entire back island, is perfect for a second master. This bedroom shares a full elegant marble bathroom with the third bedroom located in front of the house. This room’s coordinated décor includes a bedroom set with a distressed whitewashed finish, two twin beds with muted blue quilts, soft terra-cotta accent pillows, TV/VCR. The ocean views from the front and side windows complete the overall charm.
