Bookings!  Every vacation rental property owner wants to maximize the number of bookings they have.  If you are the person in charge of booking your vacation rental property or if you pass your booking inquiries onto a local management company, we might have a way to help put more renters in your property!  This service would be especially useful if you are doing your own bookings through internet advertising sites such as VRBO or HomeAway.

Managing!  Pam and I are managing rental properties in Wild Dunes and the Isle of Palms.  We often receive multiple booking inquiries for the same rental dates but have no similar property to offer to the prospective renters.  We decided that we could create a rental network that helps owners fill rental dates that have not been booked and guide renters to other properties within our network.

Networking!  It works like this.  The property owner receives an inquiry about their property for a particular rental period.  Those rental dates have already been booked.  The owner directs the renter to SRS to begin the process.  SRS matches up the renter to a similar property.

How do we do this?  We (or you the property owner) would direct the prospective renter to our website that lists all the properties that have signed up to be in our service or they would be able to contact us via e-mail or phone from information you would provide to them.

Referrals!  The renter can pick from a number of properties with similar features (beds, bathrooms, location, etc.).  The renter contacts SRS for information about the property. SRS would communicate with the property owner about availability.  The choice of how to handle contact with the renter would be at the owner’s discretion—SRS books it for the owner or the owner books its directly.

Membership!  The cost for this referral service is $50 per year.  The network members use our website to showcase their properties with photos and text.  Digital photos, descriptions and calendars are similar to those shown on the internet websites you might already use.
